California State Law requires students to meet established state standards in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Science in order to receive a high school diploma. Furthermore, beginning with the graduating class of 2004, students will also be required to pass a high school exit exam that will demonstrate the proficiency of a high school education. The class of 2006 will be required to complete a senior project as part of their social science curriculum. As well as complete 60 hours of Community Service. |

Parents and student will be kept informed of the progress of the student in meeting these requirements. Remediation is required of students not meeting the required standards.
*Any class required for graduation that is not passed will be required to be made-up the following year or during a summer school. (i.e. If you fail Freshman English--it must be made up in the Sophomore year or in Summer School)
